We need to learn how to give up things and allow good to circulate. We should understand that everything is just borrowed to you for a while. It’s good to let goods, ideas or money circulate – to pass the good forward. Don’t just leave things lying in the corners. Give them to others that need them more than you. My greatest pleasure comes to me when I can help others. My wife and I have always given old toys and sports equipment to our kindergarten and school. Earlier we gave Christmas presents to children who otherwise didn’t receive any gifts. Today, we are giving Christmas to poor families – food for the Christmas table and gifts for the children. Whenever we can give, we give. You have always to choose the right channels to avoid being fooled.
Desire to help is important because there are so many people in the world in need of help. On the other hand, I can’t change the world by myself, but every time I give things or help forward it is a step in the right direction. When there are enough of us, the lives of so many will change, though never of all. Too many are self-centered – as I do from time to time – we just want to get ourselves money and wealth. Some give to others, even if they hardly manage to have things for themselves.
I already have enough and that’s why these writings are free for you. I hope you get even one good idea – an insight – that will change your life for the better. Then I have succeeded in my meaning of life. There is nothing revolutionary or new in these writings. You’ve probably read these things hundreds of times and heard people say both good and bad about these subjects. It may be that you are already tired of all this nonsense. Still, a word, phrase, or writing can bring a new insight – which may be quite different from what was described in the writing, because you realize something you’ve been working on and now know what you need to do or the solution to your problem or just enjoy your life and the fact that you can help others.
Learn to give others stuff, ideas, or money. Give to others. My wife always tells our children that “it is not away from you when someone else gets something”. Let the good things circulate.
